Political landscape seem bleak?
Join us for SAFE: Safety in the Fallout of the Election Group. We are a trans-led mutual-aid and political action group that collects resources for our members, including trans-specific resources, food, housing, learning, and volunteer opportunities. We also provide information and facilitate carpools for those who want to get more politically involved in protests and other actions around the PNW.
We meet every Monday at 5pm-6:30pm on Discord.
Join us at Trans+
Join us for Trans+, a support group for trans and non-binary folks that celebrates all its members, no matter their stage of life or transition. Meetings are in-person every Tuesday at 5pm-6:30pm. After our meetings, we like to continue the tradition of going out to dinner as a group at local friendly restaurants. It’s an excellent opportunity to talk about being trans and then going out and living it, hopefully with some new friends. You can find more information about our meetings on our Discord.
Meetings are in-person every Tuesday at 5pm-6:30pm
Trans+ will be starting an online version of its support group very soon!
Group Facilitator:
Alice Practice
Hi, my name is Alice Practice, and I am the facilitator for the Trans+ and SAFE support groups. It took over 40 years for my egg to crack. Once it did, I was eternally grateful to those who has supported me to get there. My eyes were set on helping a community that the deepest part of me identified with. A plan was hatched to start two of my own support groups: Trans+ and a LGBTQIA2s+ group. Both were successful, with my personal favorite, Trans+, exceeding expectations. Running successfully for nearly 2 years now. It’s been an honor to make new friends, get out and about, be social with folks like myself.
Wherever you are in your process, join us, in person or online, and chat with us about what's affecting you. Learn about the unique challenges our community faces, and gain context on negative social commentary. We also like to talk about what they're doing to avoid the madness, something you’re passionate about that serves as a beneficial distraction from the chaos of the nightly news.
